News: LM2007 is launched Aug 2007 "LM2007" will replace LM2000. LM2007 is a free version. It contains basic functions of LM Pro. Expert features are removed. See information in the literarymachine group.

To get the latest version 1.1 update

If your version of LM 2000 is prior to version 1.130B, you can update to the latest version. It is a simple add-in update package of zipped files to copy/overwrite into your ..\Sommestad\Literary Machine 2000\ directory. You can download this update package through the link below.

Note: Windows 95 is not supported by LM 2000 version 1.1.

Note: To view a list of the important changes in LM 2000 since the initial release of version 1.05, visit the Program Fixes document on line.

Note: Instead of downloading the upgrade you can reinstall LM 2000 with a new download from Simtel or Winsite. You must backup your data first and then reload the data from that backup after the LM 2000 installation.
 
 

To get the add-in Help file update

The LM 2000 Help System was extensively revised in September of 2003. Download lmhelp2000.zip from the "LM 2000 version 1.1 Updates" folder in the LM Files archive at Yahoo. Follow the instructions on this Web site's Updating Help page.
